Although the weather seems to be suggesting otherwise, Spring is upon us and so is our bi-annual work day. As you will see in today’s lesson, God’s people could accomplish much when they put their minds and backs into one of God’s projects. If you recall, two very important things were needed: hearts that were stirred and a willing spirit (Exodus 35:21).
So, what are some of the things we will seek to accomplish? We potentially have a couple big projects. One will be creating a concrete slab for the dumpsters. Another may be the enclosing of the desk and the electronic equipment in the back of the auditorium. Still another is further tree removal in front of building. Also, the sealing of the back ramp which was fixed last year. There are of course the usual things: install summer screens, covers off A/C units, painting, scrapping, store sand/salt boxes, take down snow & ice signs and cleaning. As you can see, there is plenty of work to be done.
In the back of the auditorium is a sign-up sheet to let us know if you can help. Breakfast will be served and I suspect pizza will be provided for lunch. The only other thing that will be needed is . . . YOU! Hope you can plan to be a part of this effort.
